The story of CC's Coffee House is pretty inspiring. CC stands for Community Coffee. Its legacy started way back in the early 1900s. In 1995 they opened their first coffee shop in Baton Rouge. As of 2005, they were America's largest family-owned coffee brand.
You'll find friendly staff and a broad range of drinks. The signature Mochasippi is a blended frozen drink. Their coffee-based drinks come from the highest quality beans from around the world. When you're hungry, order a breakfast sandwich, scone, muffin, or croissant.
King Kong Milktea & Smoothie
There are so many unique and delicious things to try at King Kong Milktea and Smoothie. The staff can make drink recommendations and explain the difference between milk tea and fruit tea. They have Vietnamese coffee, smoothies, and milkshakes too. You definitely have to try a bubble waffle. Get it with your choice of ice cream and toppings. You can also sample authentic ramen, pho, fried rice, and more.
Yummi Cafe Express
They say the early bird gets the worm, but at Yummi Cafe Express the early bird gets the fresh pastries. There is a range of delicious glazed, specialty, and cake donuts. They also have eclairs, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls. Try the kolaches, which are pastries filled with cheese and/or hot dogs. Yummi Cafe Express is also where you want to go for your King Cake, which they make all year. You'll be able to get your caffeine fix for the day with a cup of coffee or a frappe. Set your alarm because Yummi Cafe Express opens at 4 AM and closes at noon.
