Stretching 150 acres, Santa Maria is a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design. It's one of the best courses in southeast Louisiana and comes complete with Bermuda fairways, sand bunkers, eighteen lakes, and two natural waterways. The course challenges all levels, and you can save a little money by playing during super twilight hours.
Greystone Golf & Country Club
Open to both members and non-members, the Greystone Golf & Country Club is where nearly 30,000 rounds of golf are played every year. The course features tree-lined fairways, gently rolling hills, and many lakes and streams. It's one of the hardest courses in Louisiana, and the member tees remove many of the obstacles, offering a more comfortable round for the average golfer. To enhance your game, take lessons. The course is home to Cody Maxwell, who teaches all levels and enjoys sharing his knowledge about the game.
Webb Memorial Golf Course
One of the area's busiest golf courses, Webb Memorial opened in 1925 as the Westdale Country Club. It offers a fun, challenging round and comes complete with sand traps, well-maintained greens, and towering oak trees lining the fairways. While the course doesn't provide a traditional driving range, it does feature a netted warm-up area where golfers can hit range balls before teeing off.
